Born outside of DC, grew up between the Chesapeake Bay and the Delaware shores, studied film in North Carolina for 4 years, worked in California for a little, did the New York thing for 6 years and now based in the Southeast traveling where ever the next shoot takes me. Started out shooting documentary work within the surfing industry right out of school.  2014 shot and directed a feature documentary with my brother Timmy Dwyer, "Running On Empty" about a Marine Veteran that ran across America to fight his post war demons.  The film has premiered at a wide variety of festivals across the US. "Running On Empty" received the Documentary Gold Award at the Spotlight Film Festival and Semi-finalist at the Atlanta Docufest.  2017 I worked as the skateboard cinematographer on the Crystal Moselle's film, "Skate Kitchen", that premiered at SUNDANCEI have shot a wide range of projects with a variety of formats, including 16mm and 35mm Film, Digital and Virtual Reality.  I have collaborated with HBO, Red Bull, NBC Sports, Toyota, The Explorers Club, Hurley, INDY500 and a variety of others.
